Documentation updates — March 2025

We've updated the yetipay documentation to make it easier to discover, navigate, and integrate.

What's new

Getting Started guide

A new Getting Started page walks you from zero to your first test payment in under 10 minutes. It covers:

  • Getting an API key from Basecamp
  • Creating a checkout session
  • Rendering the Adyen Drop-in
  • Receiving webhooks
  • Testing with Adyen test cards

Shareable links to specific documentation pages (e.g. /ecom-payments/webhooks) now show the correct title and description in Slack, GitHub, social media, and search results — instead of the generic "Home" preview.

Clearer Pay At Counter guidance

  • REST API v1 and v2 are both available. Integrators can use whichever version their integration supports.
  • The v2 page includes a What changed from v1 section outlining new transaction types, updated identifiers, and required headers.

Payment Lifecycle (Core Concepts)

The Core Concepts page previously titled "Payments" is now Payment Lifecycle — explaining how payments flow through Yeti (authorisation, capture, refunds) and key identifiers (pspReference, pspModificationReference). This clears up the naming collision with the ECOM "Payments" page that covers API operations.

Check platform status at status.yetipay.me. A link is available in the footer and navbar.

We'll post here when we ship new features, API changes, or documentation improvements. Stay tuned.
